You can retrieve information about the organization or the ISP that owns the IP address, including the country, state, city, address, contact phone numbers and e-mails. HotWhoIs 2.6.2 can determine name and version of the remote web server. It can also ping remote hosts to check their availability.
HotWhoIs 2.6.2 Main Features:
- Easy IP Whois Lookup and Domain Whois Lookup on 120 domain zones for selected hosts.
- Ability to perform WHOIS query via web interface if the registrar who supports the particular domain hasnt a WHOIS server.

- Tight integration with Internet Explorer 5.0 and above. Pressing the HotWhois button in the Internet Explorer toolbar starts the program and runs a WHOIS Lookup to the current address (the one displayed in the Internet Explorer address bar).
- Printing the lookup results, copying them to the clipboard or saving as a file.
- Multilingual interface. Now supported English, French, German, Russian, Catalan, Spanish.
- Works with all versions of Windows including Windows XP!
