 | | Comment # 1 of 11 | | By Phoenixoke on Thursday, December 20, 2007 | | Pros: | The GUI is quite nice.Maybe the Deep Scan features quite good, not too agressive and well balanced.
| | Cons: | The Registry defragment somehow doesnt makes me excited. The support whether for the update not complaint is bad. |

 | | Comment # 3 of 11 | | By likubles on Thursday, December 20, 2007 | | Pros: | I buy this program every single year and have had it for three years now. This is the best fix your computer program out there and I have tried a few others, but this one does the most. All of PC Tools programs are great, and I have two of their four products which I purchase every year. The Registery Mechanic will fix every single error your computer makes. This will increase your hard drive speed and make your computer faster and crash less. It also helps stop hackers if you download there Privacy Guardian. I am very pleased with this software. If it could get a ten rating it would.
| | Cons: | The only thing I dont like is they advertise as free, but you have to purchase the product to get its full potential, but it is worth the money to save your computer from evential disaster. |

 | | Comment # 4 of 11 | | By Kahanaman on Thursday, December 20, 2007 | | Pros: | This works GREAT for cleaning up the initial registry mess. After that, it catches mostly the stuff windows apps insist on putting BACK in the registry after youve run Registry Mechanic. But I run it regularly to keep things running smoothly.
| | Cons: | I hate sneaky renewal policies, and the automatic annual renewal was a big surprise. The fear mongering email from PC Tools implies the program will stop working unless I renew (another pet peeve of mine), which isnt really true. I managed to stop the renewal process, after much digging thru their website) and the program still runs. PC Tools, there is quite enough trickery in the world without marketing policies like yours! |

 | | Comment # 5 of 11 | | By myeske2 on Thursday, December 20, 2007 | | Pros: | This program got rid of over 600 problems on my computer, now it is working great, and the compact registry feature helped increase the speed of my computer. I recommend this product for every Windows user.

 | | Comment # 6 of 11 | | By Larry Lopes on Thursday, August 16, 2007 | | Pros: | I has tried many of registry cleaner tools, I think Registry Mechanic is good, it does do a nice job cleaning your registry and easy to use. I also like its interface, its beautiful. But I think it is not the best. After I used it 4 months later, my friend recommended WinASO to me, so I decided to download and try it. On the first scan WinASO Registry Optimizer found 144 errors....I could hardly believe it! Thoroughness is truly the hallmark of this great product!

 | | Comment # 7 of 11 | | By richbot on Monday, June 04, 2007 | | Pros: | Registery Mechanic Scans your computer for Registery probloms which can slow down your computer. When removing just in case it does any harm it has a system restore feature!
| | Cons: | WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to register your copy to be able to remove ALL registry probloms (the free version only removes a few probloms sadly!) |

 | | Comment # 8 of 11 | | By johnraiden on Monday, June 04, 2007 | | Pros: | Unlike most registry cleaners that bluff their way into getting a big count, Reg-mech is far more concerned into what it finds and what it omits. Its not how many it finds but rather what it finds. Registry Mechanic is the safest. Its compactor is awesome - nerver failed me. My machines always becomes faster after a scan->compact.It also has a registry monitor that Ive setup to monitor my startup keys and notify me of changes to critical sections. Nice and its not intrusive.
| | Cons: | Wouldnt mind seeing more direct fixes, like simple managers for add/remove, context menues etc and others.Keep up the good work anywayz |

 | | Comment # 9 of 11 | | By UM Canes on Monday, June 04, 2007 | | Pros: | Now, the above caption means what it said in reference to any and all registry repair software. Like anti-spy apps. each has its own data base and sees the registry a little differently. As far as this program goes, I honestly believe it is the safest and most effective of this type app. First and most importantly create a restore point prior to using this program. Not to worry, as Registry Mechanic will do this for you in settings. This app. will speed up a slugish computer for sure. Highly recomedned for computers that are one year or older and ones light on system recources.(ram) NOT FOR A NEW MACHINE and not for experiment.
| | Cons: | Do not use this type app. too often. Read each error clearley prior to cleaning. Do not clean without letting this app. create its own Restore Point Do not use this or any other like app. on any computer just to experiment. The registry of any computer is fragile and not to be played with unless you have all of the system re-install OS discs and a lot of time! |

 | | Comment # 10 of 11 | | By paul5421 on Monday, June 04, 2007 | | Pros: | This program is open monitoring my PC as we speak then. It is an awesome program and very low on resources then. When you think you deleted something and uninstalled a program, emptied your trash bin and even did a disc clean up and a reboot. Guess what? The Registry Mechanic finds all kinds of pieces of that very deleted but not so far gone program!!! Not to mention errors and stuff through out your PC and IE 7.
| | Cons: | Nothing to report. Like I said I paid for this now. |

 | | Comment # 11 of 11 | | By 19monty64 on Monday, June 04, 2007 | | Pros: | Found & fixed 67 errors and saved 5% capacity upon compression... pc faster after uninstall?
| | Cons: | Have a valid license so I re-trial upgrades and the slow-down of apps. isnt worth the faster re-boot... OK for one time use every 3-6 months! Ill regedit after un-installs. |
